If you thought the next video game in the popular James Bond series would be showcased at E3, turns out you’re wrong. Both Activision and Vivendi (soon to be merged as Activision Blizzard) will not be attending this year’s E3 according to Kotaku (and here). Other developers and publishers have also stated they won’t be appearing such as id Software. Activision has also withdrawn from the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) citing “business reasons”.

Activision will instead be hosting a “Gamer’s Day” the same week of E3. It’s possible we could see Quantum of Solace then. Maybe. Could be earlier, could be later.
