Hurricane Gold Shortlisted For BA Book Prize

The Young Bond Dossier reports that Hurricane Gold was shortlisted for the Booksellers Association’s of Independent Booksellers Book Prize (this is why they typically abbreviate to “BA”) for 2008 in the Children’s category. Good luck to Charlie, but he’s also gotta contend with J.K. Rowling’s final Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and to a lesser extent Anthony Horowitz’s Snakehead.

The winner will be announced on 31 October.

  • Skulduggery Pleasant: Playing with Fire – Derek Landy
  • The Sleepwalker: (CHERUB) – Robert Muchamore
  • Snakehead – Anthony Horowitz
